So you think that the President has lied sufficient to justify impeachment. History would suggest otherwise:
*President Truman: described the dropping of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima as "dropping the Atomic bomb on an important Japanese army base." He forgot to tell you that Hiroshima was a city of 350,000 of which 100,000 civilians-men, women, and children died. .
He wasn't impeached!
*President Ike Eisenhower: "Lied about sending spy flights over Soviet Union" even though one of them was shot down by the Russians. He lied about the U.S. involvement in the 1954 coup that overthrew a democratic government in Guatemala. The military right-wing Juntas took tens of thousands of lives...
He wasn't impeached!
*President Kennedy: "Lied about the 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba. He told the American people: "The United States has no intention of using force to overthrow the Castro regime."
He wasn't impeached!
*Presidents Kennedy, Johnson and Nixon: "All lied to the nation about what was happening in Vietnam. They all claimed they that only military targets were bombed in the war.
"Nixon additionally, kept secret the bombing of Cambodia."
Kennedy and Johnson were not impeached. Nixon was impeached for the Watergate affair and resigned from office.
*President Ronald Regan: "Lied to the nation about his covert and illegal support of the Contras in Nicaragua in 1980. He lied.about the importance of Granada in order to justify the American invasion of that little island.
He wasn't impeached!
*President George Bush: Lied about the reasons for invading Panama in 1989. He said, "It was to stop the drug trade." In fact, the drug trade has flourished since then. "He lied and deceived the nation about his real interest in the Persian Gulf.
He wasn't impeached!
*President Bill Clinton: "Lied about having sex with Monica Lewinsky. The Radical-Republicans in Congress want to impeach him?????
