The Chairman of the Veterans Memorial Day Committee, Eulalio Porras informed La Prensa that members of the Escuadron 201, the Mexican Aztec Fighter Squadron from Mexico, that participated in World War II in the war against Japan, accompanied by the Tijuana Drum & Bugle Corps will march in the Memorial Day parade in San Diego on November 11, 1999. The Mexican contingent will be sponsored by the Mexican Consul General, Professor Gabriela Torres Ramirez. The Escuadron 201 is part of the San Diego 82nd Airborne Division .
General (Ret.) Rafael Navarro Mendoza, has notified Mr. Porras that the following will attend the Veterans Day activities in San Diego:

The Parade will commence at 11:00 AM at the County Administration Center and run along the Pacific Coast Highway.
