New Participants Welcome at CSU San Marcos Annual Vendor Forum

California State University San Marcos invites local businesses to "build your future with us."

The third annual CSUSM Vendor Forum will be held on June 3, offering businesses the chance to meet campus representatives and to find out about current and future university projects. In particular, participants can talk with the CSU San Marcos purchasing team and learn about campus purchasing needs.

Because CSUSM will be expanding rapidly during the next several years, the university wants to add small, locally-owned and/or underrepresented businesses to the purchasing department's Preferred Vendor Database. This database is used to identify vendors for university projects and Forum participants will be added to it.

The Vendor Forum will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. During lunch at the newly-constructed Dome Terrace, Bob Campbell, President and Chief Executive Officer of the North County Economic Development Council, will present "North San Diego County - The Place to Be." University officials will provide the latest information on campus growth and provide tours of the new campus athletic track and surrounding facilities. There will also be a chance to discover the uni-versity's wide variety of educational and employment opportunities.

Does your business need our business? Register to attend Vendor Forum and start building your future with us! For more information, call the Vendor Forum Hotline at 760/750-4440 or visit our web site on line registration at: <www.csusm.edu/finance/procurement/> Participants are encouraged to bring business cards, pamphlets, brochures or small promotional items for the networking display area.
