Your (Editorial) should have been titled: "Touché." When term limits were proposed, there was great opposition among Latino political leaders and the organizations that follow them blindly.
Time has proved, as in matters like Ms Ducheny, that term limits have provided the voters with a tool to promote the effective ones and retire the less than desirable politicians.

U.C.S.D. Not the CYA Facility for Sure
Chale carnal, I knew UCSD was the wrong place for this Indio. The only Raza that school wants are Janitors and Gardeners. I wish I could go now to a CYA facility, but, I am not so Joven anymore, thanks again to UCSD. Can I go to la `Jaila' to finish my math BA?
If you want, I'll tell `La Neta' about how poorly UCSD treats us INDIOS, CHICANOS, MEXICANOS. But today I'm too tired from looking fruitlessly for a job without a degree. Hasta mostlalzingo!

Cell Phones Road-Rage
With the advancement of technology, we can now take our cell phones anywhere... including our cars. This is an extremely dangerous privilege... Sometimes I am cut short of time and but I obey the speed limits and signals . Recently, I almost got run off the road by one of these reckless drivers on a cell phone! I bet many of you have been tailgated by one these road monsters.
Something has to be done about people who talk on a cell phone while driving... A good solution is to fine them. That will bring in extra money to the cities and perhaps reduce the number of cell phone users while driving.

How Many advocating Gun Control Will Support School Vouchers ?
I wonder, how many of today's high-schoolers' will decide to home-school their own children?
I wonder, how many of those who want gun control will support school vouchers? The students would then be known by their teachers and the parent's standards are allowed to be taught?
I wonder, how many of you, who are outraged by the increase of teen crime, are ready to pressure Congress for lower taxes so that moms can afford to stay home and parent?
I wonder, how many parents and grandparents will take their youngsters to church every week ?
I wonder, how many, who are shocked by the repeated school shoot-outs, will never again attend a movie with gratuitous blood and gore ?
I wonder, how many of the teen killers were ever in
the Boy Scouts ?
