César Chávez Elementary, 1404 S. 40th St. San Diego, Ca. 92113, is honoring the memory of César Chávez on Friday March 30th, 2001.
Four major activities are planned.
• A rally from 9:30 - 11:30 with invited guests entertained by César Chávez Elementary students, followed by
• A marcha around the neighborhood celbrating the achievements of César Chávez.
• "César Chávez Legacy" student work exhibit in the auditorium.
• Afternoon entertainment and puestecitos (booths) 12:35 - 3 p.m.
Come, enjoy and honor this great yet humble humanitarian.
