So You Think Gas is Expensive?
Who is really sticking it to you??????
(FOOD (OR GAS) for thought)
Gracias for your Help
On behalf of the Chicano Park Steering Committee I want to thank you for all the weeks of free advertisement you gave for our 2000 Chicano Calendar.
We understand that the dollar value of the advertisement is a lot, something we as an all volunteer, non-funded -non-profit grassroots community organization could not afford.
Your generous donation has brought us several orders and we appreciate it.

Chilean Busca Trabajo

Republicans want to exchange LINKS!
Hi! The Republican Club of North County, San Diego would like to exchange links with your politics page ..I believe that our two organizations may have shared or overlapping interests and objectives which could be better served by increased mutual awareness.
(No problem. Information exchange is our business. Perhaps you are not aware that La Prensa San Diego is a newspaper serving the Mexican -Latino population of San Diego county with a circulation of 30,000 and a Web site since 1995. There are Democrats as well as Republican oriented folks that read our political analysis and observations. You may list our URL www.laprensa-sandiego.org and we will add yours to our list of links. Perhaps we both can find out what the GRASSROOTS people really think!
PROP 26 Lost In Majority of Calfornia Counties!
Support for Prop 26 (school Bond Proposal) Was supported only in 11 of the 58 counties in the state. These were the counties of San Francisco and surrounding regions.
47 counties voted NO including Los Angeles and San Diego County! The Measure was strongly rejected by a 55% percent NO vote! There is no reason to bring this measure back!
