Two Different Women, Two Different Stories, Shared Ideals

It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, summer had finally decided to visit San Diego. And on this first day of summer the community had gathered together to honor and recognize success - success in the classroom and, probably more importantly, at such an early age, success in life.

The event was the Annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon presented by the local chapter of LULAC. The children and young adults being recognized were predominately Hispanic children from the sixth grade all the way up to young adults. Family and friends had come together to recognize, applaud and reward these students.To continue, click on the link.
