L.U.L.A.C. Scholarship Luncheon Saturday June 19

The Annual awarding of Scholarships to students of special merit will be held by the League of United Latin American Citizens Council 2842, San Diego, Ca. on Saturday June 19, 1999 at the Hanalei Hotel, Mission Valley, San Diego, Calif.,

According to Beatrice Estrada the luncheon will begin with a registration period & purchase of luncheon tickets at $20.00 per person 11:30- 12:00 p.m. The Luncheon and Program will begin at Twelve Noon, in the Lanhaina Bay Room, with the Program lasting until 3:00 p.m.

Ms. Laura Castaneda, Latino News Media Association, will be this years Mistress of Ceremonies and Vic Salazar, of NBC/7/39 will give the Keynote address during the Luncheon. This years Presenters of the various Awards and Scholarships include Manny Aguilar, Pacific Bell, David Bejarano, Chief of Police, San Diego, Anita Crandall, Nordstrom, Gabriel De LaFuente, Jim Dierker, Coast Distributing Co., Joseph Garcia, Community Health Group, Gabriela Johnson, Joe Lerma, American Legion Post 6, Hector Molina, KNBT Channel 19, Anthony Pico, Viejas Casino, George Salamando, Asst. Chief of Police, San Diego.
