Minority Community Affairs Trainee
Through our Affirmative Action Training Program, KGTV is seeking minority applicants for a part-time Community Affairs Trainee position.
KGTV is looking for applicants who have successfully pursued their educational and vocational goals within their chosen area of the broadcast industry. The ideal minority candidate will be a recent college graduate with a broadcasting or related degree and some hands-on experience at a television station, such as through an internship.
The Community Affairs trainee will help coordinate and promote station projects. This includes writing and producing public service announcements, scheduling production shoots, and organizing station events. The trainee will work closely with community organizations and handle requests from viewers. The trainee will also have the opportunity to work closely with the Promotion/Creative Services Department and interact with other staff on various projects.
The goal of KGTV's Affirmative Action Training Program is to increase the upward mobility of minorities by providing this valuable on-the-job training experience.
