U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Over
The U.S. Open Cup tournament will be coming to San Diego on June 23, the second round match will pit the Flash against either D3 League Arizona Sahuaros or an amateur team from Fresno, Mexico FC. Those two teams will meet Friday in Arizona. San Diego is seeded #10 in the 32-team national tournament. Minnesota, Orange County and Seattle joined the Flash from the Western Conference.
San Diego Soccer Weekend
San Diego will be blessed with warm weather and good soccer this weekend, as the Flash play matches on Friday and Sunday at Douglas Stadium, Mesa College.
El Paso visits San Diego for the first time Friday at 7:30 p.m. on World-Famous San Diego Zoo Night. The first 2,000 kids will receive free passes to the Zoo.
Sunday, Sacramento comes to Douglas Stadium as part of a double-header. The 3:05 p.m. Flash match will be preceded by the Auto Trader Select women's team game against Ajax of Southern California.
