Thousands of inner-city children and their families will once again have the opportunity to learn to swim this summer through the City of San Diego Park and Recreation Department's Portable Pool Program. The Portable Pool Program, established in 1968, allows swimmers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the benefits of aquatic recreation in communities most in need and for a reasonable cost.
