Esta historia que voy a contar, es un
hecho verídico, no es un cuento de ciencia ficción
y voy a tratar de contarla con los mejores detalles posibles,
para que ustedes puedan ser transportados a ese lugar y a esa
escena enmedio de las montañas de Durango, la conocida
"Sierra Madre".
En una mañana fría de invierno en la sierra de Durango, en un pequeño caserío (ranchito) llamado Higueras, en el estado de Durango, Mexico, sucedió esta historia. Era el año 1976; en una casita (jacal), sin servicios públicos, ni agua potable, ni electricidad, ni gas, ni teléfono, y ningun medio de comunicación con el mundo entero vivía una familia con tres niños. Paché, un bebé de un mes de nacido, Maria Elia de un año de edad y Rafael de dos años de edad. Ellos vivian en una casita de una sola habitacion. En este cuarto también se encontraba la cocina y a la vez una esquina del cuarto era usado para almacenar maíz. Las paredes eran de adobe, el techo de caña cubierto de tierra, con una sola ventana y ésta, sin marco ni vidrio, con una sola puerta sin marco, ni picaporte, hecha de tablas la cual necesitaba un palo para poderse cerrar y con piso de tierra (sin ceramica, madera u otro material).

Designer Scott Lane really had his work cut out for him when
he was asked to outfit the long list of characters for Feld Entertainment's
latest Disney On Ice spectacular, 75 Years of Disney
Magic, running January 31 through February 4 at the San Diego
Sports Arena. Because skaters have to be able to skate as well
as do jumps and spins, a series of costume fittings take place
during the rehearsals of the show.
