If you are looking for a Small Business Administration (SBA) loan and want some hands-on assistance, there is an upcoming free workshop designed to provide some help on Feb. 8, 10 a.m.-noon, at the Small Business Development CenterNorth County, 1823 Mission Ave., Oceanside.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration and the California Trade and Commerce Agency. The SBDC works to meet the needs of entrepreneurs throughout North San Diego County. Services which are free or inexpensive include one-on-one counseling and workshops.
The upcoming workshop will be presented by SBDC staff along with an SBA representative and a local lender. To provide full assistance to serious borrowers, seating will be limited to six business owners. The workshop will be offered on an ongoing basis; nest scheduled dates are April 4 and June 6.
