DaimlerChrysler's All-New Guide to Hispanic Financial Aid Helps Put Students on Information Highway to College

San Antonio--Daimler-Chrysler Corporation has published on all-new student resource booklet called "On the Road to Higher Education: Guide to Hispanic Financial Aid Opportunities."

The new publication provides students with information about requirements and deadlines for hundreds of scholarships, fellowships, grants and other college financial aid programs available to Hispanic students. The booklet also includes information on how to write a scholarship application essay, as well as a list of helpful resources.

"DaimlerChrysler is committed to educational access for all people, to enable us to continue to build a workforce that reflects our nation's diversity," said A.C. (Bud) Liebler, DaimlerChrysler's Senior Vice President, Global Marketing. "In fact, our U.S. workforce already is more diverse than that of any other automaker. If we are to continue that record, Hispanics and other groups must have access to educational opportunities."

The guide organizes financial aid sources by major academic area of study, and includes sections on undergraduate and graduate assistance. Copies of the guide can be ordered free of charge, while supplies last, by sending a letter to: DaimlerChrysler Hispanic Scholarship Guide, P.O. Box 3315, Livonia, MI 48151-3315. Requests also may be made toll-free by telephone to (800) 521-0953, or by fax to (800) 883-8338.

DaimlerChrysler has produced a Scholarship Guide for Hispanics every year since 1992, and has distributed thousands of copies of the annual booklet, free of charge, throughout the United States to schools, colleges, libraries, and organizations that work with Hispanic students.
