Soon to be Ex-Governor Pete Wilson couldn't resist taking one last shot at the immigrants, that he abused so much during his administration. He is denying hundreds of legal, elderly immigrants (Chinese, Japanese, Filipinos, Latinos) their right under AB2779 to receive their Cash Assistance for the Aged, Blind and Disabled Legal Immigrants. Wilson (Scrooge) won't allow a penny to be given to these folks until they prove the denial of federal SSI/SSP benefits. We knew you hated RAZA but the blind and disabled are new slam. When do you leave Pedro???

WOW ! In coming Governor Democrat Gray Davis hasn't been sworn in and he has already stumbled. His appointment of Barry Munitz, to be his Volunteer Leader is not too KOOL! Munitz is the former Charles Hurwitz, Houston, Texas financier, who is being sued for allegedly stealing $60 million, in 1986, from the workers pension fund at Pacific Lumber Company. Munitz is involved in the decade long serious of legal battles to get Hurwitz off the hook. Come on, about to be Governor Davis, don't tell us you didn't know anything about this rip off... Or, is it going to be business as usual in Sacramento???

Lee Grissom former Honcho of the Greater San Diego Chamber of Commerce has just been charged with spending hundreds of thousands of dollars of taxpayers monies on expensive hotels and luxury perks such as chauffeured limousines. He is on a short tenure (Less than a year) as Secretary of Gov. Pete Wilson's agency for Trade and Commerce. Outrage is being expressed in Sacramento over his extensive travels for a lame-duck administration. Hummmmm seems to be his buddy Pete Wilson provided Grissom with a taxpayer paid vacation.

As a non-educator at any level, inexperienced in school affairs, and as secret candidate of the Chamber of Commerce, we smelled a rat. Chamber has only one agenda THEIR BOTTOM LINE AND NOT YOUR CHIL-DRENS EDUCATION! The Super is their man.

Just happens he owns a good chunk of property that will be impacted by the proposed Gateway. When does the new Super have time to run the school District???
