Teresa Quezada Joins Ranks of Insurance Agents

Teresa de Los Angeles Quezada

It seemed not too long ago that an untrained young attractive young lady walked into the offices of the San Diego Job Corp and inquired about receiving skill training. Like legions of other Mexican Americans, Teresa de Los Angeles Quezada (26) had little or no training or abilities to enter the job market other than in the service industries.

She was quickly tabbed as an intelligent and willing student and entered into the Job Corp computer-training component where she mastered Word Processing, computer operations and received training in their applications in general office practices.

Teresa felt prepared and entered into the job field. She applied at the offices of Mr. Maurice Hultz, Insurance Agent and Broker for ALLSTATE Insurance Company, this past May as a trainee. "My Boss liked my work and urged me to undertake courses that would lead me to my Agents license. I attended courses at the Mike Russ Financial Institute to learn about Property, Casualty and Automobile insurance rules and regulations. I then took the State Examination and passed it on November 23, 1998 and satisfied all the State requirements to become a licensed Insurance Agent," stated Teresa.

Soon, she will receive her license and will be able to serve all her clients as a bilingual (Spanish/English) Insurance Agent. "I want to inform all my family, friends and anyone in need of Property, Casualty, or Automobile Insurance to call me at 239-9622 and I'll be happy to serve you en Espanol or English!

(Teresa resides in Imperial Beach with her daughter Stephanie and her husband Jose Quezada) .
