The Foundation For the Children of the Californias would like to announce the release of its second annual bilingual calendar. This very special calendar notes Mexican, U.S. and Canadian holidays, helpful health tips for parents and children, and includes a directory of services with map locations for San Diego and Tijuana. It also provides a detailed description of the efforts being made by the tri-national foundations to build the only Pediatric Medical and Education Complex in Baja, CA. These bilingual calendars make great gifts for friends, family and clients, while helping the children have a much-needed medical facility. Hospital Infantil de las Californias will expand its current Pediatric Medical Specialty Clinic, currently providing 37 medical specialties, to a medical care facility including radiology, pharmacy, surgery, emergency room and laboratory services.
The Foundation For The Children of the Californias is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization whose mission is to improve the health and nutrition for children of the region. The Foundation is offering a Special Holiday Price of $8.00 ea. (calendar retails for $11.95). The calendars are available at both the U.S. Foundation office and the Pediatric Specialty Clinic in Tijuana. Quantity orders are available at an additional discount. For groups, (such as churches, schools, service organizations, etc.), a special reduced price provides an opportunity to sell the calendars as a fundraising project. All proceeds from donations and calendar sales will go toward the Foundation's efforts to help improve the health and nutrition of children of the region and to help build the first pediatric hospital facility in Baja, CA-located just one-half mile past the Otay Mesa Border.
