El Jefito finally made it back to the hot seat at La Prensa... minus seven (7) piedras (stones), doce (12) lbs, y poco desganado after 30 days of fighting off "las piedras"! And what hurt the most being $12,000 lighter! Hijole the cost of being sick makes it impossible for common folks to be sick. Dice el Jefe: Muchas Gracias for all of you that sent him cards, called and wrote.
Mi cuatacha, la Yaqui Neraka de Isleta, Tejas, says they are ready to start another upraising in Tejas. Her smoke signals talk about an upraising over former Sweetwater High Superintendent Anthony Trujillo who is about to get run off the Isleta reservation. Seems Tony is up to his old tricks. As the "Superintendent" of the local school district, he has taken upon himself to declare all the homes around the High School as being under Eminent Domain and is trying to force the poor folks out of their homes! Seems he wants to build a sportplex with school monies... Look out Antonio "your messing around with Apaches, Utes, Tiwas, Comanches and other assorted mean folks. Being Hispanic doesn't cut it with those folks."
Gain one lose one. New face around the main office of La Prensa is Berenice Cis-neros, who was hired to replace Dolores Fino, who has left our employment, as the office manager. Soon to depart to return to college is our ace reporter Robert Quintero. Roberto is feeling a need to become a Techno-Nerd... its back to the books for him. We shall miss him.
The fight over teaching English only to our chamacos es puro pedo! Just what is the English language? Take out all the Spanish, Arabic, Turkish, Greek African, German, Danish Scottish, Dutch Nahuatl, Norse, Tatar, Norse Eskimo Persian, Latin, Sanskirt, Italian, Philippino words and what are you left with???? NADA!... The only real English words come from ancient Brit lingo! Check out your dictionary and see how many real English words there is! Every time one of those "English non-bilingual-wackos speaks out he uses at least 10 different foreign languages to talk in!"
