Business owners, contractors and architectural firm representatives are invited to a free seminar on business contracting opportunities with the University of California, San Diego, to be held from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Institute of the Americas on the UCSD campus.
The seminar will present information about the University's contracting procedures and certification process and will enable participants to meet with representatives from Campus Purchasing, Disbursement, Storehouse, UCSD Medical Center Purchasing, and Facilities Design and Construction.
The outreach seminar for the business community is sponsored by Human Resources-Equal Opportunity/Staff Affirmative Action in an effort to diversity UCSD's customer population.
Both the seminar and parking are free of charge.
