Workshop on Using the Mexican Commercial Telephone Directories at the San Diego Central Library

Are you planning to travel to Mexico and need to contact hotels in Mazatlan? Do you want to market your product and need a distributor in San Luis Potosi? Would you like to establish professional contacts in Guadalajara? Do you need information from a museum in Palenque? Then your first stop should be the San Diego Central Library's complete collection of Mexican commercial-telephone directories.

To help travelers, business people, professionals, chambers of commerce, writers, researchers and others learn how to use this valuable resource, the Central Library will host a free workshop by expert Richard Villasana, VP Marketing, VSI Directory Services on Tuesday, August 31, form 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the third floor auditorium of the Central Library.

Topics covered by Mr. Villasana will include how to find key information from any city and town in Mexico; what's in a Mexico commercial-telephone directory that can't be found anywhere else; why smart business people use directories instead of plane tickets to do business in Mexico; and why directories are your only source of guaranteed accurate information.

The Central Library is located in downtown San Diego at 820 E street. Metered street parking is free after 6:00 p.m. Contact the Information Desk of the library at 236-5800 for more information
