Chula Vista- Candidate Eduardo Valerio, life-long resident of the South Bay, and product of Sweetwater schools officially announced his candidacy today for the Sweetwater Union High School District school board. He is seeking Sweetwater board seat number four.
Owner of a local business and president of the Sweetwater Education foundation, Eduardo is running because he believes the School Board could do better. “I’m running because I Believe in Sweetwater, because our students, teachers, parents and the entire community should all Believe in Sweetwater,” said Eduardo Valerio.
“As a Sweetwater graduate, I have lived the educational experience that our children are going through. I know first-hand there is much that can be done to fix our schools. If elected, I will bring integrity and hard work to the board, and as a board we can all work to improve student achievement and provide quality facilities for all. Our students deserve very opportunity to shoot for the stars!”
