San Diego Students Invited to Explore College Options

With so many choices of colleges and universities, how can students find a college that's right for them—the San Diego National College Fair! At the San Diego Convention Center, college representatives will provide prospective students and families with answers and materials on many of the nation's postsecondary institutions on Wednesday, April 21, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., and 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Public, private, community college, and 4-year institutions all will be on hand to explain college admissions requirements, the college application process, campus life, major fields of study, and financial aid possibilities.

Sponsored by the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC), the San Diego National College Fair will provide contact with more than 200 colleges, universities and other educational services. Admission to the Fair is free. Students and parents will be able to talk directly with admission representatives and pick up catalogues and other helpful literature. A counseling center is available for those seeking one-on-one counseling. Evening workshops will be offered to explain admission procedures for the University of California, California State and the community college systems as well as provide helpful workshops financial aid and how to select a college.
