En estos días nos hemos preparado para celebrar este día especial con cantos, flores y alegría. Vamos a celebrar con la familia y amigos este acontecimiento tan significativo, importante y único, el triunfo del Señor. Las personas se visten de muchos colores así como la naturaleza se engalana con flores que reflejan la belleza de la naturaleza.
La Pascua es un tiempo especial para inspirarnos y llenarnos de júbilo, de alegría y esperanza de una nueva vida.
En estos días México goza de un nuevo presidente que desea encaminar al país por los senderos de la justicia e igualdad social. Se respira ese nuevo aire y nueva vida en nuestro país. Es la resurrección de Jesús, la vida nueva que Cristo nos ofrece a través de la gente buena y amable de México.
Hace algunos años un joven hacía sus primeros pininos en el área de la fotografía. El joven sacó 50 fotos y la única que se pudo revelar fue una foto de su hermana tocando el piano. Su mamá le dijo al joven que siguiera con su carrera como fotógrafo pues esa foto fue excelente. Esto cambió su vida y se formó un excelente fotógrafo.
También nosotros, la mayoría de veces en nuestra vida, hemos fracasado. Pero lo importante es que nosotros sí podemos triunfar y cambiar de vida. El Señor Jesús toma nuestra debilidad humana y la transforma en fortaleza, el ve nuestros fracasos y oscuridad y los cambia en luz. El nota nuestro sufrimiento y lo supera con una vida nueva, un espíritu nuevo y con una paz inmensa en nuestro corazón. El considera la violencia en nuestra vida y sociedad y en su lugar la cambia en paz y en tranquilidad. En otras palabras nos da un nuevo espíritu aunque tengamos el mismo cuerpo sufrido y dolorido. El nos invita a salir de lo ordinario para sentir el Espíritu de Dios.
Existe un dicho que en nuestro mundo no hay coincidencia sino que todo es Providencia. Esto implica que el amor de Dios siempre está con nosotros y nos perdona cuantas veces fallemos para que sintamos su inmenso e infinito misterioso amor. El desea una vida nueva para todos y así triunfar sobre el pecado y la muerte.
Cuentan que Satanás se quedó triste pues pensaba que iba a ganar con la pasión y la muerte de Jesús. Pero la última palabra la tuvo Cristo y venció rotundamente al pecado, al sufrimiento y a la muerte.
Hoy estamos invitados no sólo a proclamar que Cristo ha triunfado sino que podemos acompañar al Señor y decir y cantar abiertamente —"Hemos resucitado". Hemos triunfado, hemos adquirido un nuevo Espíritu.
Que nuestra oración sea: gracias Señor por quitarnos el miedo, la inseguridad, la desconfianza y por darnos la paz, la seguridad, la confianza, el perdón y una vida nueva. Señor, que siempre vivamos unidos a tu amor, tu perdón y luz para formar una nueva familia, una nueva comunidad y un mundo nuevo, pues Tú Señor, en verdad has resucitado para darnos una nueva vida.

WASHINGTON, April 9 — The details of the Bush administration's
FY 2002 budget, released today, offer disappointing news to America's
college students. While the proposal would add $1 billion to the
Pell Grant program, it does not do enough to support key student
aid programs that serve low- and middle-income students. The administration's
budget would increase the maximum Pell Grant by just $100, to
$3,850, for the nation's neediest college students. It also fails
to increase funding for other important student aid programs,
including Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, Leveraging
Educational Assistance Programs, Perkins Loans, and Federal Work-Study.
